    1. COMPLETE REVIEW OF THE BOOK AND eBOOK.‘LINCOLN’S DIARY’ by D.L. Fowler[Charlotte M. Liebel Review]This is a fast-moving, mesmerizing story because of the author’s elaborate and inferred attempts to support numerous theories. 'LINCOLN’S DIARY' by D.L. Fowler presents hidden characteristics for President Abraham Lincoln, intrigue, murder, politics and California travel on California city streets. Who are the women who knew of Lincoln’s Diary? Who are the men who killed for the Diary ye [...]

    2. Before I knew it I was totally enjoying Lincoln’s Diary but not because of the title or locale any longer. Now it was because I was enthralled by the story and characters. Let me explain. I was initially drawn to D. L. Fowler’s novel, Lincoln’s Diary, by the title. Since I was a child I’ve been both a Lincoln and a history buff. After I started to read I realized many of the settings were local for me and I could ‘see’ where Sarah was, what stores and neighborhoods she was passing. B [...]

    3. This was a great book. This First Reads win was well worth it. Sarah is such a believable character that I could relate to. Struggling with anxiety, Sarah embarks upon a mission that will ultimately define who she is. The story is great. Time was the only issue preventing me from reading this book faster than I did. The plot is plausible, although, as do the characters in the story, the reader may become a bit leary as to the theory behind Lincoln's death and the verity of a diary written by one [...]

    4. I'll have to admit, i'm not a person who reads a lot of books based on history. Even though i do not, i found this book pretty interesting. I really loved Sarah. She was a wonderful character and added a certain charm to the story line. I actually found this book pretty interesting. It was quite the read, although it is not the best compared to other books i've read. It is still a wonderful book. I recommend that anyone with a slight interest in history read this book. I've recommended it to my [...]

    5. D.L. Fowler's (Lincoln's Diary) grabbed me on the first page and didn't let go. Sarah, the main character is a vivid combination of strength, brains and sensitivity. This is a fast paced read. It does not take a breath ---not a wasted word, but the warmth of the main characters remain far after you've finished the last page. I look forward to D.L. Fowler's next book. R.Heller

    6. Interesting storyEnjoyed the story. Sarah was a bit much at times.Picked out the murderer but still a good mystery. Will read more books by this author.

    7. Sarah Morgan life takes a turn for the mysterious when she finds herself rooting through her recently deceased mother's estate and finds her grandmother's personal journal. The journal hints about a supposed diary belonging to Abraham Lincoln that has been in their family for quite some time. Sarah discovers that her mother sold a document relating to lincoln for $10,000 and wonders if it's the aforementioned diary. If so, she realizes her mother was sorely ripped off. The diary also makes menti [...]

    8. Book Title: Lincoln's DiaryAuthor: DL FowlerPublisher: Harbor Hill PublishingISBN: 9780615445533Reviewed by Michele Tater For the Couch Tater ReviewCharacter is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing. ~Abraham LincolnAfter Sarah's mother dies, she is left with the task of going through the house, that was home to her, her mother and grandmother for as long as she can remember. Also she is looking for clues about the mystery men in [...]

    9. Good read, fast paced. I liked that it was clean - no bad language, descriptive sex scenes, and really no explicit violence. The conspiracy theory wasn't too far out there, just enough. I had a hard time not comparing the book to one of Dan Brown's; Mr. Fowler isn't a "professional conspiracy theorist" yet.

    10. I wasn't sure about this book at first. Not normally the type of book that I enjoy reading, but I thought I'd give it a try due to my love of history. It was definitely worth it! I enjoyed that Sarah was a strong woman and didn't let anyone bully her!
