    1. I remember when my Mum gave me this book as a small child for my birthday. I read the stories on the bus that winter while trying to contain my laughter in certain parts. Fond memories!

    2. Clever and funny describe the stories of Paul Jennings. I had not read any of his stories before this book and found them to be humorous for a young-adult or family audience. The stories are written from the viewpoint of mostly young boys and they tackle the normal and not so normal childhood fears. Reality can be an ephemeral state in childhood. Very Funny Great short stories.I especially loved piddler on the roof .Paul Jennings has created a fantastic collection of of humorous witty short stories that will bring out the inner child in anyone.He effectively uses one liners,metaphors,similies,personification,assonance and alliteration in this compilation.A well put together book that I recommend to all children out there and Adults wanting to bring out their inner child.

I thought it was very funny and i loved the creativity, my favourite short story was when the guy had goat poop in his pockets and had to explain why and made up an amazing fake story about saving an animal who was sick for a man who wore newspapers. After the story, his dad later went in the fridge and found something disgusting sitting on a plate. the guy had to create another creative believable story to fool his parents! :0overall I love the whole book!!!
