    1. The Farrah Chronicles is the story of a slightly unstable woman's life. The voice of Farrah is strong and engaging, the character well drawn and the author writes excellent prose. I enjoyed the story of Farrah's relationship with Dirk, but once that finished, the book soon lost my interest because it had no over all thrust of dramatic tension to hold it together. The main character in a novel should have a clear goal, and there needs to be an antagonist to get in the way of the goal, then we hav [...]

    2. This book was a blend of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Girl Interupted with shades of Doug Copeland and Chuck Pahlinuk and mnaybe some Christopher Morris thrown in for good measures. There is not a hint of Danielle Steele or Nora Roberts but I did detect a little bit of Jackie Collins spiciness in there from time to time. Great read!
