    1. Well HOT DIGGITY DAMN!!! Now i normally say DON'T judge a book by its cover but in this case you sure can. Hot, sexy hunk on cover = awesome, sexy story on the inside! First up, i love stories that centre around Vegas there is something about Vegas that brings about the loss of inhibitions, wildness and lots of hot, sweaty sex hmmmmmm in this case we have the by-the-book, uptight, Math professor; Sadie who just wants to experience some fun in Vegas and she crashes quite literally into Nick, the [...]

    2. Well, smoking hot cover on the outside and smoking hot romance on the inside. This is my first novel by the husband and wife team V.K. Sykes and I wasn’t disappointed. There’s nothing very heavy going on, no tragedy, it’s just a really good and fun contemporary romance – pretty high on the steam factor.University Maths Professor Sadie Bligh has been living life by the rules on the straight and narrow in Chicago with a pretty humdrum existence and sex life. She gets overlooked for a prest [...]

    3. 3.5 starsReviewed for InD'Tale. The short of it-some parts were good, Nick was cool, but Sadie annoyed me at times And, BTW, there's no Nobel's prize for Mathemathics.Reviewed for InD'tale here

    4. Holy HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The story of Nick & Sadie is great. Nick a former Marine now assistant chief of security at a large Las Vegas hotel is bowled over by the beautiful & constantly dangerous in heels math professor from the University of Chicago.Sadie. They sneak around out of the eye of the chief of security because it's against hotel policy for Nick to date a customer. His idea of dates are amazing for just meeting someone who is supposed to be just a short fling. Sadie gets hooked [...]

    5. Hot Number is your typical romance novel; this one with the twist of a math professor counting cards in Vegas and the casino security guard who has to blacklist her. I liked the storyline and I liked Nick. I wanted to like Sadie. At moments I did, but for every moment I chuckled along with her there was another where I rolled my eyes. hard. Her dialogue was brutal and her righteous indignation at being caught cheating was just ridiculous. There were some steamy scenes (when Sadie wasn't talking) [...]

    6. Not for me. I finished it, but just barely, skimming a good portion. It was kind of sweet but boring. Characters were okay, even a bit quirky, but lacked any depth. The story could have been a novella if not for the excessive insignificant detail the author dragged the reader through that had absolutely no pulse. Flat lined story that put me to sleep more often than not. I wouldn't even suggest it for a beach read.

    7. 3.5/5.0This book is a spicy, funny and interesting addition to the Romance genre - not to mention steamy!Read full review in the 2012 May/June issue of InD’tale Magazine.

    8. HOTHot Number is about a math professor and a casino security professional who meet and fall in love. Through a series of events, we discover that living happily ever after May not come to this couple. Be advised that there are very adult scenes in this book.

    9. Good and easy read. I really liked Nick and Sadie. It was one of those books that I wish was longerI wanted to know more!!!

    10. Loved this book, gripping right from the onset, great quirky heroine and enticing alpha. Best V.K Sykes book I've read so far.

    11. I really enjoy this author's books! This one is another Hot guy that finds his woman Vegasaying cards. Great read!

    12. I enjoyed Sadie and her strength and weaknesses. Nick was hot and thoughtful, caring and hot. This story makes me want to go to Las Vegas with a girlfriend :-)

    13. Hot, hot read! I like both Sadie and Nick although Sadie is more reactive than proactive on this trip, but, hey! It's Vegas!
