    1. I wasn't sure what to expect before I read this book. I'm a big fan of books with supernatural creatures and this sounded like it was one of those books, and it was. The main character Jane was a well developed character. She came from a family that she wanted to get away from and thogh it was 1970 and she was very young, she was determined to make it on her own and not move back in with her parents. This to me showed she was a strong, hard worked and intellgient character. This book had me intri [...]

    2. This book has the strangest premise but I have to say it really surprised me. I won an advance copy through the First Reads copy and I didn't really expect to like it. But I found myself engaged in it. The main character Jane has a lot to do with that, I am sure. She is smart and sassy. I found some of the dialog between the lovers to be a little corny but overall it was a decent read.

    3. Good reads win: Anything with supernatural creatures is something that I usually love. This is one of those books I loved. The characters are very well developed and the plot of the story falls into place just at the right time. In the end the book was a surprisingly good read and kept me surprised at random times throughout the book. if you can buy it and read it, or just read it!

    4. This novella has not been in print for several years. It has had some slight revision, and is now part of the short-fiction collection "Mercurial Tales: fiction on the Para side of Normal", on sale September 1, 2016.
