    1. Great book. Rosie comes to town to marriage Tom. She wants a real marriage a loving husband, home. and family, but Tom has been betrayed by his first dead wife. He marriages Rosie and tell her no sex no baby. But Rosie has other plans she is going to make Tom love her. Tom has treated Rosie like a slave, she never complains. Tom realizes how wrong he has been, She is nothing like his ex wife. He wants a real marriage. they take a two day honeymoon in town. while he dead wife come back an kidnaps [...]

    2. Thanks for the opportunity to read this. It was a quick, fun read. The two main characters, Rosie and Tom were both extremely naive about what they were getting into with this mail order bride situation, which made it more believable. Although they communicated through letters before Rosie came cross country by train to start this new life, there were a few VERY important things they didn't discuss, especially the idea of future children together. They also didn't anticipated the immediate stron [...]

    3. I haven't read a Western in a while and thought this would be a good change of pace. I was not disappointed. Tame a Wild Bride is the third book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. I have not read the other 2 books, so I don't have any back story. However, I had not trouble keeping pace with the characters or the story line.Tame a Wild Bride is the story of Rosie, a mail order bride, escaping from her city life to claim a life of her own. True to the way of life in the early Western [...]

    4. Review in Indonesia :Rosamund aka Rosie mendambakan sebuah rumah dan keluarga, tepatnya rumah dan keluarga miliknya sendiri, karena kakak iparnya keberatan Rosie tinggal dengan mereka. Kesempatan itu datang saat dia membaca satu advertisement berisi :Wanted: Single woman to cook, clean, and care for children on a cattle ranch in southwestern Colorado. Will marry upon arrivalTom Harris, adalah orang yang membuat advertisement tersebut dan memilih Rosie sebagai pengganti istrinya yang telah mening [...]

    5. Tame a Wild Bride by Cynthia Woolf follows the adventures of Rosie Stanton, a city-born girl who agrees to travel west to marry a young rancher with children. Back in 1890, genteel women seldom had adventures, they lived sedate lives composed of plate painting, music recitals, and bringing up children. Bad news was none of that was happening for our heroine, Rosie. If being a spinster wasn’t bad enough, Rosie finds herself on her brother and new sister-in-law’s good graces since both her pare [...]

    6. Here I go stepping back in time again to another time zone where I have got into reading romances centering around mail order brides. I just am fascinated on how women who answered the ads or went to these agencies really took a chance and said yes to vertically a complete stranger. In this one I met Rosemary or Rosie for short and since she considered herself average and only thing a guy wanted from her was the little bit of money she had she answers a ad on a mail order bride in Southwestern C [...]

    7. It's been a very long time since I've read a real western novel so I thought I'd give this one a try when Black Lion Virtual Books presented it to me. I'm glad I did. It took me on a nostalgic trip to my younger daysJohn Wayne and Maureen O'Haraold western movies and when times were simpler and love was love. Cynthia Woolf is a born storyteller in the old-fashioned sense. She's one who knows how to grip you from the first pages and carry you through without giving you a minute to draw your breat [...]

    8. Rosie and Tom. Tom advertises for a wife, but really he just wants someone to care for his kids and cook and clean. Rosie accepts and is heartily disappointed when she gets there to find out it won't be a true marriage, but one of convenience. She comes from a well to do family out east but when her brother remarries, she realizes she doesn't like his new wife. But she's stuck now, cause if she goes back, nobody will marry her. She makes the best of it, and Tom is quite the jerk but it doesn't t [...]

    9. I don't understand how a woman of means was cooking and cleaning in her brother's home alongside the staff. Maybe if we had received more of a back story about ill treatment by her sister in law would have helped to explain why she was desperate enough to become a mail-order bride. Also, since she had $5000.00, I don't understand what drove her to marry immediately after being mistreated and finding out that she had been lied to. She could have taken a job or returned to her brother.I also didn' [...]

    10. Estuvo bien, nada espectacular.

    11. I really liked this story. It is a simple, yet at times emotional story. Rosie is a straightforward, honest woman, who just wants a family and place of her own. She comes to be Toms mail order bride, and Tom quickly tells her that he just wants her to be a mother to his kids and a house keeper. Tom was badly burned by his 1st wife. The mystery at the end was quick and wrapped up quickly, and seemed a little unnecessary. It just seemed to be a way to get Tom to recognize his feelings.

    12. For me this was the best of the series. But again it could be read as a stand alone and you would not be missing anything. This is about Rosie & Tom, she is the mail order bride and he fully intends to not love another woman as his previous wife hurt him. Tom about works Rosie to death in the beginning of this story. I think that the author hit it out of the park with this book.

    13. I won this one as a giveaway. Not something I typically read, but that's what I like about the giveaways. It was good. Pretty predictable, but there was a little mystery in there. It was a perfect quick summer read.

    14. What a strong women that could go into the west with no knowledge of the man that she would be marryingI would like to think I am that strong, but doubtful. I enjoyed the writing and the story line.I received this book from .

    15. I listened to this book on audio. The reader was really good separating voices to characters. I loved the plot and characters of this book. I loved that Rosie had gumption. Tom and Rosie made a great couple. The story flowed very nicely and I am looking forward to reading more.

    16. Tame a Wild Bride A great story of romance and drama. Enjoyable book with times of laughter and times I wanted to know what kept her from walking away. Good reading.

    17. GoodreadReally good series and characters are strong and I am so glad the women can hold their own but still let their men be men.

    18. Another win win story from Ms. Woolf this one really gets to the heart with trust issues, finding love, starting over and letting go of the past. There is nothing worse than losing trust in someone so bad that it makes you not trust anyone as Tom has but he just doesn’t put his trust in women. The women that said I do to left him to raise their two children. He now needs a woman to help him raise them. When he sends off for a mail order bride one women reaches out to him he can’t get her out [...]

    19. I won a signed copy of this book through First-Reads.And I'm really happy I did!I loved Rosie's innocence and stubbornness and wanted to hit Tom many times! Throughout the book the author hinted at what must be connections through the first two books making me really want to read them too!I wish there had been a bit more leading up to Ben asking for forgiveness. Having children of that age I know just saying your mom was bad and you should lobe Rosie isn't going to actually move a 10 year old to [...]

    20. Rosie Stanton climbed on a west-bound train to become a mail order bride. She wants to escape her brother and wicked sister-in-law. Tom Harris sent for Rosie, but he doesn't want a real wife. He's been burned by love and only wants someone to care for his two children and cook and clean for him. So, when Rosie wants more children, there's a problem. Rosie is strong and capable, and doesn't complain. She's also determined to win Tom's heart so that she can have children of her own. I enjoyed the [...]

    21. I highly recommend you read this western romance. Cynthia Woolf wrote a beautiful story with strong characters, a great story line that keeps you focused and not wanting to put the book down. The author makes you feel like you are right there in the story, you want to reach out and grab this handsome cowboy! I don't want to give anything away, so you have to read it for yourself. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series.

    22. This was not a well-written historical romance.I was surprised when I looked at the title to look up on .I did not see any 'wild' in Rosie at allr she need 'taming'. Tom was horrible and I have no idea how Rosie fell in love with hime author says she didbut I can't fathom why (and neither could supporting characters).

    23. Mail order bride meets man who only wants a mother for his kids. Good story anyway. The brides in these stories are always tougher and smarter than anyone expects and they make their way in Colorado territory.

    24. Great book, loved the characters and the plot. This book showed what love is. Did not want it to end!Great love story. Would love to see more stories about this family. It is a must read book. Good reading!

    25. I really enjoyed this story, I found.I found it gave a great reference to a true western life of that time and lost myself enough I had to get to the end before I went sleep, the description of the book really does it justice

    26. Very good readingVery good readingIt was a good love story. As a mother myself I could relate to many of the feelings. It kept me reading right through to the end. I would have liked a little more mystery in the book but all in all very enjoyable.
