    1. Darkness Falls was a tense read in the Survivors series! The Wild Pack and Leashed Dogs join together for Survival, will they all get along or will the group split up?In Darkness Falls Lucky faces feelings of betrayal, being banished from the pack, acid-rain storms, coyotes, fierce-dogs, and Alpha's relentless disdain towards him. Along the way Lucky bonds more with Mickey, and stumbles upon three fierce-dog pups. Definitely loved this installment in the Survivors series. Wish I could have read [...]

    2. I read this and enjoyed it very much, but I am not exactly dying to read the next book and probably never will. Not saying it's a bad series, I just have so many other books I need to buy.

    3. THE GOOD Lucky: Lucky continues to be the easy to sympathize with main character. You feel bad for him when his supposed friends turn on him, then when he is exiled. And when he returns, he becomes the bottom of the barrel among the pack. It's saddening to watch - and all his friends just expect him to forgive them! That is not how feelings work, Bella, Bruno and Sweet.Mickey: Officially my favorite, rift along with Martha and Lick. I love them, and I really was happy to see Mickey finally let g [...]

    4. This book where do I begin? I still don't feel that magic that I always felt when reading the Warrior series. I don't feel like I have to go out right now and pick up the next book or start reading it right away if it is in my house. The characters are starting to solidify and just when I think I have the swing of things the characters become fractured. Alpha, who was strong and brave and fairly intelligent becomes strange in this book. His character shatters and he starts becoming cowardly, acti [...]

    5. After being found out as a spy, Alpha, leader of the Wild pack casts him out of the pack. Lucky strikes out on his own with some help from his friend Mickey. They stumble along across some young fierce pups, whose mother has gone to the so called earth dogs. They raise the pups to be good pack dogs. Wiggle enjoys the attention, Lick works hard to be the best pack mate of the wild pack, while Grunt is loyal to his fierce pack ways.Lucky is unsure of what to do with the young pups, for surely Alph [...]

    6. Darkness Falls was a very interesting book. Alpha seemed to be a little different in this one, but that just makes the whole book a lot more interesting. I love animal conflict, and things that happen unexpectedly through out the book. And the conflict between Lucky and Alpha gives me a great picture in my mind that could be useful for animating. And I also love theorizing. The flash-backs, and the characters behavior give me theories about what might happen and how it come. And I love that, its [...]

    7. Darkness Falls by Erin Hunter was a great book. The main character, Lucky has found a new home for a pack of dogs who have been forced to leave their homes due to a massive earthquake that struck their city. When all seems back to normal and all is well, a massive storm breaks out and a whirling black cloud surrounds the new home. When the storm leaves, more and more storms break out but are smaller. Some of the dogs start suggesting to move away from their new home and look for another place wh [...]

    8. this was a really good book that explores the values of Loyalty versus Independence. I really enjoyed this book as i like dogs and this book was also pretty meaningful in the way that we all have conflicts and this was shown a lot through this book. All in all a good book, would recommend it to people that like animals and conflict

    9. I loved this series at first but am beginning to wonder if I will ever know what is really happening. Maybe some of you have already figured out what has taken place. I keep reading each new book to try and find the answer.

    10. The Wild and Leashed packs may have united, but Lucky is now an outcast. Unsure of how to live his life now, after being together with these dogs for so long, he returns to the city to go after his friend Mickey, who set off in search for the humans. After they reunite, they find some Doberman pups. From now on, it seems like everything will changeJust another nice installment in this series. The characters are once again cool. I still like Lucky as a protagonist, and how determined he can be. We [...]

    11. Lucky and Mickey are banished from the pack, they find four little puppies Lick, Wiggle, and Grunt number for is dead next to their mother-dog. Lucky and Mickey are kicked out of the pack because lucky was a spy. They are taking the puppies to the wild pack.Lick is a small tan-brown Doberman she is fun and outgoing. Grunt is the older he´s te one that wants to prove to everyone he tough he is also a tan Doberman. wiggle is the runt of the puppies he is a scaredy cat and also a tan Doberman.Over [...]

    12. I think this book was amazing! I love how into detail the author, Erin Hunter, is. The story line behind the book is brilliant. I would recommend this book to animal lovers and especially dog and wolf lovers.

    13. ThrillingThe series of "Survivors" remains thrilling even after this third book. I purchased the fourth book even before writing this review. The dogs are survivors and will triumph even through all the adversity they have suffered. I can't wait to start the next book.

    14. I liked this book. You feel eager to keep reading throughout the book. The mood the author wants you to feel was definitely felt. Not much really went on though.

    15. I loved it!I have been reading Erin Hunter books for a while. I started with Warriors, then went to Seekers, and now I'm reading Survivors. I love all of them!

Loved it! I may or may not write a review for this in the future. Depends on my mood. ;-)

    17. It's not like I liked it. I just happened to enjoy it, seeing as I was asleep half the time, I believe.

    19. Lucky is still struggling with the Alpha dog of the pack, who thinks that Lucky is responsible for the death of pups in the second book and wants to permanently scar Lucky, who is now the pack Omega. Lucky isn't having it, so he runs off, but has some complications. The city is poisoned, and when Lucky meets up with Mickey, the two find that Mickey's "longpaws" are gone, and his house is being robbed by evil longpaws, but not the ones with yellow fur. Shortly after this, the two find three puppi [...]

    20. I felt like this story had a slow process. It basically just developed characters, enhanced their struggles to survive, and solved a few conflicts. However, it was great in adding interest and anticipation for the next book. I especially liked how the story introduced Fierce Dog pups that could become noble dogs. It would be a very creative plot in the next book.Another thing I enjoyed in this book was the impact the conflicts gave me. The anger and conflict between the characters intensified th [...]

    21. I love survivors this one is my favorite series, My favorite character is Lucky, Lucky reminds me of my dog by how they look. Survivors is a amazing series I love reading it and so as my little cousins, Also I love how creative and dark it is the author put in great detail, another thing I love is that the author will repeat whats happening like when you forget what happens then the author will repeat it. The book used very strong words, words I did not even know! Sometimes during the book I say [...]

    22. Survivors: Darkness Falls (Survivor Dogs Book 3) Summary: After a violent attack threatened both the Wild and Leashed Packs, Lucky knows that the dogs' only ope for survival is to unite. The Wild Pack's ruthless Alpha reluctantly agrees to let Bell and the Leashed Dogs join them - but after learning of Lucky's role as a spy, Alpha casts him out and orders him to never return. Lucky tries to be happy to have his freedom again, but the forest and ruined city are treacherous for a Lone Dog. Food an [...]

    23. One of the themes of this book is the dangers of mob psychology. At the beginning of the book, everything bad is happening to Lucky, so everyone automatically thinks that the reason all the bad things are happening is because of Lucky and therefore he needs to be chased out. Everyone is also afraid of the Guard dog pups because it is common knowledge that Guard Dogs are hostile and vicous, so some even suggest killing the pups (when in reality, they are just harmless pups). Alpha is the leader o [...]

    25. This book was surprisingly fun to read for me. The theme of it is bravery. Three examples of this are, Lick ends up viciously killing Terror, a mad dog who believes in the fake Fear Dog, for her friends, even though she doesn't even have an adult dog name, Fiery challenges Alpha for his leadership, even though he is a wolf-dog, and Lucky leads them to rescue Fiery, who was caught in a trap made by the longpaws. I really liked how there was a lot of adventure. Warriors, Erin's other series, has a [...]

    26. Picking up right from where it left off, we get to see how lucky handles being a lone dog again. despite experiencing a lack of support from a pack he used to roll with, in times of when he needed them most, he managed to display an admirable level of determination. a good level of suspense, as usual.I enjoyed reading about lucky's journey in this book and can't wait to see what lies in store for the newfound pack as they continue to develop ties with one another; hopefully with that, things wil [...]

    27. Somehow I am not enjoying this series as much as Warriors, I guess because the mythology and culture of the clans was so entrenched, but the Pack seems loose and like it won't last. I enjoy the animal aspect, and some of the friendships and relationships between the dogs is touching. I particularly liked the pups, and wonder how Grunt will grow up. That is probably the most interesting aspect so far. I want to know more about the Big Growl, and I will be continueto read this books despite the di [...]
