    1. The book challenged me to think about life in new ways. I recommend it to anyone who is semi-curious about Confucianism, the Dao, or their connections to modern thought.

    2. I really enjoyed this book. It was almost as enjoyable as a novel. I appreciated the way Professor Crane took Confucian and Daoist principles, updated them, and then applied them to current American political and social issues. Through Professor Crane's lively explanations, I really obtained a solid grasp of the two philosophies! I would love to take one -- or all! -- of his classes!二零一七年: 第十八本书
