    1. It's hard to point what exactly I loved about this book apart from the sense of all pervading calm and serenity. This would be one to read just before bed - no big thoughts, no nightmares, no excitement just love acceptance and a warm drift into peace.

    2. I hope this book wins an award or becomes a classic. I received as a gift on the birth of my daughter and it brought me to tears, it is just so damn beautiful. It reminded me of all of the simple yet wonderful gifts Mother Nature can give. My 2 year son loves it too.

    3. Love this book. This was my daughter's first book. She was approx. two years old when I first started reading it to her. We would usually do it around the bedtime or during her feed time as she would drink her milk and look at me with those huge eyes that I love so much while I was reading it to her. She would even make pauses during her feed to giggle when I would imitate animals or nature sounds (obviously it's all about the presentation as at this age the goal is to captivate their attention [...]

    4. Somehow, I missed Alison Lester books before my son was born. I was aware of them in a ‘I’ve seen their covers in the book shop’ way, but I don’t have any memory of reading them. After Squirm was born, I bought a pack of 4 Alison Lester books from the post office, but they went away for a little while until he was older. Then we unearthed Magic Beach, fell in love with it, and the rest was history.Kissed by the Moon is a shorter book than Magic Beach, so if you’re reading with little o [...]

    5. Gorgeous, gentle baby book. Have already given it as a present. Think this one will be a classic for Alison Lester. The illustrations are superb and the wording is nicely different to some with sloppy baby sentiments.

    6. Such a sweet beautiful story/prayer for a young child. Whilst the storyline is quite short the illustrations give you something you could read into for a much longer time. Beautiful book.

    7. I love this book. It's beautiful. I've bought it for a couple of new babies, I hope they and their parents love it too. astrongbeliefinwicker

    8. A beautiful poetic book, gentle and calming, perfect for bedtime. The illustrations are gorgeous too. A love poem to baby and nature. A perfect keepsake.

    9. A lovely bedtime story written as poetry about all the simple wonders that a baby can experience in our world.
