    1. A very inspirational book of short stories about people who helped make America the great country that it is. We need lots more people like those whose contributions are featured in the little book. A thoroughly enjoyable and quick read.

    2. This is one that I read with my kids and we all loved it. As it reads in the introduction "a great subtitle for this book would be "Wow, I Didn't Know That!" We learned fun things like the invention of the alarm clock, and first Dictionary (called the vulgar book), and Levi jeans, and we also enjoyed the inspiring stories about our founding fathers as well as great women in US history. Good for younger kids too because each story is only 2 pages long - 100 stories total.

    3. A collection of 100 or so quick briefs of little unknown and odd facts of America's history like the 16year old girl who outrode Paul Revere on his ride mustering more fighters than he did; or how the hot dog came to be Americas favorite food; or Herbert Hoover the first person to inroll in Stanford University and become their first football Champion. It's a quick but fasinating read.

    4. Interesting. I would have like the stories to be slightly longer. A bibliography would be nice if the reader wanted to read more on the subject.

    5. A short collection of interesting stories from America's history. I question the merits of honoring Lincoln as such, but Lee was also portrayed well.

    6. My son and I read one story a day and we found out some things that we never knew. It was fun to learn about so many great things about America.
