    1. Loved this one just like the others (Read out of order but getting the 4th from the library soon, review coming soon!) If you haven't had the chance to read them, you will find them entertaining even though they are geared towards younger readers. You may even relate to some of the things in the book as you may have done the very same things as a kid. Give this series a read even if it's just for yourself and you don't have children or read them with your children and have some laughs together. [...]

    2. This review is really regarding my 6yr old son's opinions because I just don't get these gross-out books. I buy them for son because of my sometimes wobbly belief that all reading is good reading (for kids) and I would hate to turn him off to reading by forcing Shakespeare or Chaucer on him to early. Anyway, he laughed out loud at this one too. It contains all the elements of glee one usually finds in a "Pilkey" such as mean grownups being hypnotized by naughty but well meaning schoolboys and th [...]

    3. It's a thrilling book with comedy , puns , action and mostly about the terror of the wedgie woman !!I really like this book because it just makes me laugh whenever I read it

    4. After a disappointed 4th book, I was hoping this one would be better, and it was!And that mostly was because of the ending, it was a really heartwarming and fluffy ending and it made me really happy. It really shows that these 2 boys also have a heart and are willing to forgive someone. This time the villain is their teacher! Then again, the teachers are already pretty much villains with the harsh way they treat the pupils, but this is different. This teacher will go full villain mode! And it wa [...]

    5. I enjoyed this book because I like Captain Underpants books. I did not like this book because I did not like the part when Wedgie Woman almost took over the world.

    6. Book five in the Captain Underpants series.Harold and George are up to their old tricks. When a prank goes too far, they decided to fix things by hypnotizing another teacher. They don't mean to create the worst monster everbut they do. Will the world withstand the wrath of the wicked wedgie woman?

    7. A wonderful read from my childhood, one I’d certainly suggest for other youngsters. Whilst it is not my all-time favourite childhood read I can still recall all the details of this one meaning it certainly left a lasting impression upon my young mind. And isn’t that what we want with children’s books, for them to leave a positive lasting impression?

    8. I think this book was OK because i like the books of captain underpants I learned that to never hypnotize your teacher because you will get in trouble I would recommend this book to my friends, family and teachers because it is a good book. This book was fiction.

    9. I thought the book was very hilarious and the storyline is funny.I also thought the book was interesting to read.

    10. An easy book to read with 3rd graders and younger. The story is very basic about a mean teacher going too far and ending up as a super villain.

    11. I picked this book up for my daughter, who really enjoyed the movie. I have a few minutes free, so I decided to give it a quick read.As a kid's book, this hits all the right targets -- funny, silly, easy to read. The plot is ridiculous, as are the characters, but that's on purpose. There's plenty of self-deprecating humor, breaking of the fourth wall, and reader interactions interspersed with the story itself.I'd say it's appropriate for kids who can read, of any age. It teaches a lesson or two [...]

    12. In my opinion this book was one of the best books I've ever read. The book has a lot of action, and it's a very funny silly book. The main characters are named George, Harold, and Captian Underpants. George and Harold are good guys and they are always so funny. They really make this book an amazing story. Captain Underpants was always the hero in the story's and he would always save the day! I definitely recommend this book. It always makes my day to read a Captain Underpants book!

    13. Felicity LOVED this book, and I'll admit I had a lot of fun reading it out loud to her. Would I prefer higher literature for my kid? Sure. But she really likes underwear jokes.

    14. Title: Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wedgie Woman The Fifth Epic Novel Author: Dav PilkeyDate of Publication: 2001Genre: Fiction/Comics/Picture Book/EntertainmentAnnotations: This book is about two boys who have a great imagination. These boys are George Beard and Harold Hutchins. George and Harold are average kids at an elementary school and they usually get into trouble. They created the Captain Underpants comics, where their principal (Mr. Krupp) turns into super hero Captain Underp [...]

    15. Real Rating: 4.5George and Harold are back once again and this time so is the Hypno ring that got them here in the first place. Their prank this time revolves around their teacher, whom they use the Hypno ring on. Unfortunately for Harold and George they were not paying attention to the news. The news told them that the rings worked differently upon women and caused them to do the opposite of things. So now their teacher is Wicked Wedgie Woman and she wants to get rid of Captain Underpants. So s [...]

    16. Captain Underpants And The Wrath oF The Wicked Wedgie Woman Captain Underpants takes place in the school. The main characters are George Beard and Harold Hutchins. Captain Underpants fights the Wicked Wedgie Woman. The author is Dave Pilkey. This book is a hilarious book. First George and Harold make a comic book titled The Trubble with Captain Underpants. Next Ms. Ribbles gives a big news to her students. Also Captain Underpants fights the Wicked Wedgie Woman. Finally Ms. Ribble makes a retirem [...]

    17. We bought this book used. The fifth book in the Captain Underpants series brings things back to the beginning and even busts out the 3D HypnoRing that started it all. Long-time troublemakers Harold and George try to break free from the smothering demands of their school by tricking Principal Krupp into asking their teacher, Ms. Ribble. to marry him. Ms. Ribble responds by flunking them. George and Harold try to correct things with the hypno-ring but only end up with a super powered evil woman on [...]

    18. This one was particularly funny! Apparently the 3D Hypno Ring, originally used to turn Mr. Krupp into Captain Underpants in a snap (ha!), doesn't work as intended on females. If you try to hypnotize a woman, they will do the OPPOSITE of what you tell them to do. And thus, in trying to make their English teacher be nicer, they accidentally create a super-villain with Medusa-like hair. She's kinda fabulous. This is one of the books in the series that will have long-lasting repercussions as well:(vi [...]

    19. Ready for another captain underpants adventure? I sure hope so! Here we go again with captain underpants and the wrath of the wicked wedgie woman. Every captain under pants story is about a comical adventure, however I belive this book has the greatest sense of adventure to date (the 6th and 7th are a little more epic, however more on those later). In this story captain under pants is not strong enough to take on wedgie woman on his own, so the boys construct robots of themselves to help out pan [...]

    20. The only reason I read these books was because I ran out of books and my brother had them, so I decided to read them. Like I said before, they are sort of stupid, but it is pretty clever, that may not make very much sense though.

    21. Captain Underpants is very hilarious. A superhero in underpants who turns out to be the school principal!

    22. A very funny book for fans of Captain Underpants.A nice continuation of the series. This is a great book for reluctant readers to show them that sometimes you just have to find the right book for you.I have loved the Captain Underpants series since I was a kid and enjoy them just as much now as an adult. Re-reading them as an adult, I notice different things than I did when I was a child such as Captain Underpants' Superman-like origin story. This is a very funny read, a completely new adventure [...]

    24. IN THIS BOOK CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS GEORGE AND HAROLD ARE FINALLY NORMAL KIDS AGAIN. THEY WENT TO FLUNK FOURTH GRADE AND CREATED A HUGE EVILPOWERFUL MONSTER THAT IS TAKING OVER THERE CITY AND THE ENTIRE WORLD SO THEY WENT TO THERE TEACHER AND TOLD HIM TO SAY CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS AND HE BECAME HIM AND CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS CAME AGAIN TO STOP THE EVIL. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO LOVE HILARIOUS THINGS.

    25. read this to my 6 yr old daughter. As much as I cringed at the misspelling in the "comic book" sections I understand the artistic intent. Its also good to remind myself as an adult that toilet humor does have its place in the world and these stories are pretty funny once I put my "potty talk only happens in the bathroom!" rule on the back burner. :)Also, the puns in this are fantastic. Miss Anthrope may be my favorite character name of all time now. :-D
