    1 thought on “Deadly Judgment

    1. I received Deadly Judgment, Book 2 of the Judgment Series by Nickie Asher as an ARC (Advanced Readers Copy) to read and post an honest review on release day. Previously I reviewed Blood Judgment, Book 1, and was left speechless for days. Now, not to be outdone by Blood Judgment, Deadly Judgment has left me just as (if not more so) breathless and brain scrambled. So much so I took a week off of reading all together when I finished reading it. But I still could not seem to write my review. So, to [...]

    2. Days of JudgmentWOW!!!! I am so in awe with this book, it is hard to put into words how I feel. I got this book after I had read Blood Judgement, so needless to say I had to get this one as well. Slade a man with few words, a man who has horrible nightmares, but why? What has a caused a resistance to fear his own self? Alyssa, a woman who is very vocal, and will do things her way, no one will ever tell her what to do again. Then there is the government, in the United States, that will do whatever [...]

    3. Wow! Top quality, captivating, & engrossingThis new author is on her way to the top of the reading charts! I felt so involved with this story. With the government trying to wipe out the vampire race, the Resistance will stop at nothing to save them. I was captivated right from the beginning with all my emotions stirred. This is a very engrossing read that had me cheering for the vampire race, pure disgust & rage for the government, sad, happy, love has it all. The writing is very detailed [...]

    4. INTRIGUINGLY COMPLEX What a wonderful novel. It's well written with a depth you rarely see. I took a star because to ending felt rushed. Like Nickie Asher had reached her word count and that was it. I feel a another chapter would round the story off and tired up some loose ends, added a bit more drama. All in all, a very good book with a storyline that could lead to many more in this Judgment Series. If you like lots of action with your PNR, you gotta read this one. A heads up, it will make bett [...]

    5. Just when you think the corrupt government officials couldn't stoop any lower than they did in book 1, they introduce not one but two deadly viruses into the vampire community to further degrade and intimidate them. It's left to the Resistance to try to save their community from extermination. Definite shades of WWII Nazi treatment of the Jews in the constant struggle of the vampires against the human authorities. Plenty of action with characters old and new, never a dull moment.

    6. The continuing story of of the vampire Resistance.Nickie continues to intrigue her readers with this new book. While there are definite similarities to Hitler's regime, the plot twists keep the reader on the edge of their seat looking forward to what happens next. The end of the book helps to answer a few questions (it almost felt rushed). But, she did leave it open enough for a third bookI can't wait to see how she get's rid of the bad guys (Banks especially)!
