I was born in the summer of 79, Sid Vicious was already dead, Unknown Pleasures already released, Punk had already spawned Post-Punk.I found Punk in the mid-nineties after watching The Crow and working backwards from the Nine Inch Nail’s cover of Joy Division’s Dead Souls.     2. A great description of growing up before punk and then having your life changed and influenced by being involved in the whole Punk movement. Very interesting insight and funny stories of life on the road with a punk band; one of the best of the second wave of the punk bands. A good book for fans but also for people with no experience or knowledge of the whole punk thing.

I picked up this book when I seen GBH about a month ago, I wished I knew it was written by the bass player at the time I would have had Ross sign it, oh well.I enjoyed the book, some of the names, places, albums he mentions brings back memories. It's pretty current as well, even though my copy says now in it's 4th print. There was a turning point in the book where it didn't warrant a five star rating, it's not a bad thing, and I still recommend reading it if you're a fan of punk rock, biographie [...]
