    1 thought on “Getting Lost

    1. This book was just OK to me. I thought I would really like it because when I was younger, I went on a Contiki tour all over Australia. It was one of the best times of my life, so I was excited about this books setting. Unfortunately, I was not crazy about the characters. I found the main character Stella to be annoying at times. I also did not buy that she was in love at first glance with an accused murderer. And I hated the secondary character of Russo. His story-line included a threesome with [...]

    2. i think this was a three or a four. I can't remember it and lost my records with my snafu. This is not a review. I am just reminding myself I've read it.

    3. This is more like a strong three stars, but given that it's the author's debut work, I think it's a worthwhile effort though you shouldn't expect plausibility here. If you have not read any of this author's works, Keep Hold might be a better place to start than this book, which does drag a little at times.

    4. Review of Getting LostI didn't warm to this book. The story is well plotted, the ending is exciting and, although unexpected, suits the rest of the narrative, the characters are well developed and the setting in all the different countries is well presented. But I think the lead characters just didn't appeal to me. I found Stella irritating and wanted to tell her several times to get over herself. For a Tour Guide with many years experience she sometimes acted in a very juvenile and sulky way - [...]

    5. This book takes off, straight away! I have never travelled overseas and this makes me slightly regret this, and want to change it! I found it so easy to go on tour with this crowd. Can't wait for another release.

    6. I enjoyed this book. It was Refreshing and the characters and locations were interesting. It was nice to read a book set in Europe. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to more from this author.

    7. Couldn't put this down. I enjoyed the pace and twists and the sex was very well written. I loved the journey around Europe and got a real feel of the different countries visited as well as the romance and intrigue. A bit of everything for everyone.

    8. From the moment I started reading I felt like I was back on a Contiki bus touring Europe, it was wonderful to get a perspective from a tour managers POV. Loved the main characters & really had trouble putting this book down, wonderful debut novel! I'll keep my eye our for Michelle's next book!

    9. Loved this book. Makes me want to go on Contiki again!! Great suspense also, especially near the end. Thoroughly recommend. Just waiting for her next book to come out now!!

    10. I really enjoyed this book, I liked the story line, the characters and the fact that it kept me guessing. would definitely recommend.
