    1. This is a book, where there are 19 beautifully crafted stories, which are divided into two sections for us to delve into and swim out of a pool of stories, that is certain to make us all refreshed. Imagine section deals with narration par excellence by an intangible object or feeling, the other section musings deal with normal, yet brilliant stories of all the genres. Not to boast, but this book is a sensation, for I take immense pleasure in reviewing all the stories to the authors credit.Imagin [...]

    2. The blurb could not have put it better – A Collection of Unputdownable Stories - presented by Readomania. It was actually difficult to put the book down. Nineteen brilliantly crafted stories play their way through the readers’ hearts, each obviously chosen with care by a diligent editorial team. The stories are all different, yet they have one thing in common. They deal with the human dilemma, whether it is in the Imagine Section, or in the Musings Section. The first nine stories have a stran [...]

    3. Verdict:Section I: ImagineConfession of a Benarasi Sari – Ayan PalThe name is such intriguing that one can’t stop himself from reading the story at one go. Ayan Pal has narrated the feelings of a bewitchingly beautiful Benarasi Sari in delightful words. The way the whole story is portrayed through the eye of a Benarasi Sari, is just wonderful. Being a Bengali, I can very well understand the perspective of writing this story and can easily say that this story will entertain all types of reade [...]

    4. Blurb:The chronicles of Urban Nomads is a compilation of riveting short stories selected through a nationwide hunt by Readomania. These have been conceptualized by some very talented authors from the literary world. The title itself is eye catching and raises the curiosity of the reader to go beyond the cover page. The fast paced stories are divided into two segments- Imagine and Musings. The stories in both the genres do full justice to their respective categories. The first section Imagine cont [...]

    5. nehalilalwani.wordpress/20Chronicles of Urban Nomads is a book with collection of Short stories by Readomania. It consists of 19 stories across multiple genres like Thriller, Humor, Romance, Emotion, etc…The primary mark this book makes in readers heart is by its writing style. All the stories in this book are written in a simple and explicable language. It’s easy to read and it suits the taste of almost everyone as it is multiple genres.Section I: ImagineConfession of a Benarasi Sari – Ay [...]

    6. The Wait, by Ashay Abbhi, is a powerful story: but that is not telling you enough. A strongly constructed narrative that takes you through an old man's journey towards redemption, the story shakes you up. Very rarely does a tale leave you with a message that you can carry with you for life. Very rarely, does a story evoke a profound moment of introspection. The Wait is one of those rare stories. Ashay's writing is lucid, clear and very inviting - you simply cannot put the book down when you are [...]

    7. Review at A Lot of Pages: goo/Sgo206What I liked: + Cover design+ Interesting & memorable stories+ Narration style of some storiesWhat I didn’t like:- Wanted to know more of some stories- Would have been better if the stories were mixed than separatedAn enjoyable collection, which could have been so much better.

    8. The book has been perfectly edited. That goes a long way for me while reading Indian authors. It was a joy flipping page after page, finding all the stories well written in correct English. Congratulations Sutapa Basu! While all the stories are very good, I especially liked some of them. I would like to mention those here.A Vicious Battle by Aravind Sampath touched my heart. It’s a battle between Karthik’s heart and mind told from the viewpoint of the heart. Excellent! The Blue Slippers by Ki [...]

    9. Another well compiled anthology by Readomania. The short-story collection, mainly set in India, is divided into two sections, i.e. Imagine, the section based on personification and Musings, stories with normal 3rd person narrative. Most of the stories on objects are good and stay in your mind. Like the Benarasi sari in Ayan Pal's story or camera in The Blue Slippers in Kirthi Jayakumar's story or the consciences in Jannekar Lawrence's story or the well-too-known narrator inDeepti Menon's one . B [...]

    10. I have a confession to make: I've read my Rabindranath Tagore, but had no idea India had so many talented contemporary authors. Thus, when I chanced upon this collection, I was captivated. The stories in this anthology are divided into two parts: Imagine and Musings. Yet, the distinction seems largely arbitrary when one considers the common threads that run through them. All stories are fresh and modern, yet classic and poetic. I particularly loved the originality displayed by these authors. Fro [...]

    11. ‘Chronicles of Urban Nomads’, much like any anthology showcasing first time writers, will generate mixed emotions. But much like any such anthology, I wish ‘Chronicles…’ is read by many. Quality platforms for giving new writers a chance to be read are few, and their importance can never be stressed enough. Both sections of the book are well-connected by a thread we call human life. Either the personified objects are showing us their human sides or we have life-size characters ranging f [...]

    12. The Chronicles of Urban Nomads is a compelling collection of short stories that are divided into two sections, Imagine and Musings. The characters are well written and the stories of the part of what make these short stories thought-provoking. Inanimate objects also have interesting stories to tell in this book. I enjoyed reading this book so much that I didn’t put it done once til I read the very last word. I can only hope that another collection of short stories will be made.

    13. The side effect of an itch. Review of ‘Chronicles of Urban Nomads’*I remember asking my drawing teacher one day after school, ‘Sir, what should I do to improve my drawing skills?’ He answered, ‘Learn to look at everything from multiple perspectives.’ He then asked me to look at the empty classroom from where I was standing and then wanted me to lie down flat on the floor and look in the same direction. I was then asked to walk to the door and then to the back of the classroom. He the [...]

    14. I am a big fan of short stories and in my opinion penning down a story in a couple of pages is much more difficulty than writing a whole novel so everything I get the chance to read one I jump on it. The latest addition to my short story collection is the Chronicles of Urban Nomad. The book is divided into two sections- Imagine and Musings.Imagine is a collection of 9 stories through the eyes of certain things, phenomenal and feelings while Musings are short stories people and their relationships. [...]

    15. Benarasi Sari is definitely the one I loved the most. In fact all stories wherein things talked for themselves were very engrossing. Good attempt. Job well done!

    16. A wonderfully imaginative, thought-provoking collection of stories that have been written with a deep understanding of life.
