    1. Keira is a geek's geek, trapped in a hot girl's body. It causes problems because she attracts men she never has anything in common with. Daniel, a friend of her boss, as a last minute favor, shows her around the comic convention, he happened to be also working. None of the players involved expected sparks between this unlikely pair. What happens when the vanilla girl, gets thrown into the deep end of the kink pool?Daniel is so far removed from my normal type of romance hero. Beta just isn’t my [...]

    2. I saw Courtney Milan tweet positively about Sated, and she linked to a B+ review over at Smart Bitches. I'm not super into BDSM, although I've read my fair share of it. This one intrigued me because I saw the hero and heroine were more on the geeky side so I decided to try it. I read it in one sitting and had a smile on my face.Keira has had bad luck in the dating department. She is super into a science-fiction show called Galaxis, and gets along better with her online friends than the men she t [...]

    3. Gulped this one down. I loved the heroine, an unashamed nerd who chatters and makes silly jokes and is pretty happy in her own skin, actually. The hero is also fabulous, he's a lifestyle BDSM person who falls for someone who really isn't, and it's so cute see him ease into a relationship without the trappings. Which is not to say this book contains no kink, it has plenty, but it's more about her trying out her wild side and him focusing on the emotional core of the relationship than on the sexua [...]

    4. Review originally posted on Lacy Literacy:“Keria had crafted herself into the dream student, the model child, and the ideal athlete. And the most socially awkward human being ever."The Fit Trilogy has been on my 'I'll get around to it someday' shelf because Rebekah Weatherspoon, the author, does some really amazing work in the romance community like running Women of Color in Romance. I probably wouldn't have gotten around to it anytime recently if it wasn't for the Unapologetic Romance Readers [...]

    5. All I can is that I loved this book! Not only was it captivating, but it also got into the psychological aspects of Desire, Foreplay & BDSM. It wasn't pitch perfect, but it absolutely lovely.Giving this one 3.5 stars.

    6. I adore this book. This was my fourth read and it's still so good! Keira won my heart from the very beginning. She's the kind of heroine I wish I could be friends with. I especially love the first scene when she is topping. It's just hilarious and hot and wonderful. One of the things I appreciate the most about this book is that it centers two switches and they switch with each other. I also really like that I got to read about a novice top. Both these things are so rare in BDSM romance. I also [...]

    7. The heroine is Black, enthusiastically geeky, and athletic. The hero is Korean-American, disabled, and a switch in a polyamorous "family" relationship.I like how the characters were clearly ethnically diverse and also clearly had a complex mixture of characteristics that made them seem like real people. (Especially remarkable since this was just a novella!)It's fun to watch them fall for each other, because there are actual lifestyle obstacles for them to overcome -- which they resolve through th [...]

    8. Sated is the third book in the Fit Trilogy. To be fair, I didn't read the other two in the series but it wasn't needed in order to tell Keira's tale. Keira is a fitness guru and a sci-fi geek who wants to find a man that can accept her quirky nature along with her good looks. Daniel is a pyrotech who is missing a hand from an accident early in his career. Daniel is deep in the kink community while Keira is completely new to the game, but they realized their was more to the other: Daniel was more [...]

    9. This romance is my favorite of the series. I love Kiera and I love Daniel. They are human and fall in love with each other in lovely real ways. They also mess up in lovely real ways. I am not always a fan of BDSM but this book is great for me because who the characters are blend into their play. Very sexy and very loving. I think we get the great, if fast, development of their relationship. I wish, again with this series, to see how they ended up negotiating their lives fully blended. This was a [...]

    10. 3.5 I loved a lot of things about this interracial romance featuring two POC. I absolutely enjoyed Kiera's brand of unapologetic geekery, it's so rare to see an all-out nerd who isn't afraid to bust out three cosplay options to geek out at a con. She also can't help talking her way through things, especially during a scene and such- I share this trait and was stoked to see it on the page. Both Daniel and Keira are switches, which I'd never read before in kinky books, and that was super interesti [...]

    11. Full review at Smart Bitches, Trashy BooksFull disclosure: I have a huge block when it comes to BDSM. As a result, I did not expect to like Sated, which is the third book in a trilogy about members of a BDSM club. I tried it anyway, because it had a lot of my personal catnip components, including diverse and geeky characters. Surprise, I LOVED IT. The book was respectful of geeks, people with disabilities, people of color, and the BDSM community, and it was informative and entertaining, and it w [...]

    12. 2.5 starsI was all ready to love this one. Up until the 70% mark of the book this one was my favourite book of the series and I had a feeling it was a definite 5 star read for me. But then the conflict that was presented involved things that I mostly find very hard to forgive, which would have been fine had the narrative convinced me that they were workable issues. Instead the author took the easy way out -really easy way out- and the conflict was resolved by one MC having a talk with his people [...]

    13. oooh this was an excellent read. loved Keira and Daniel together. ok i havent read the 2nd book but i loved this even more than FIT, book 1.Keira was so nerdy and such a fangirl about her show which i adored, because when i'm into something I love gushing about it, and Daniel is so into listening to her go on and on about it. :) The way Keira explored her curiosity about certain aspects of BDSM was so well done, i thought. At no time did it feel like she was doing any of it because Daniel was pr [...]

    14. I love Keira and Daniel. Actually, I love this whole trilogy, but I think Keira and Daniel are my favorite characters from it. Also I find that, even if some of the sex wasn't for me, I absolutely love the people. Another thing I love about this series is that even though it is about people in BDSM, it's not scary. Sometimes, you read or see something involving BDSM and you can't help but think "Oh dear god, why?!" I don't find that to be the case with the series. In fact, I like that the author [...]

    15. Set in Los Angeles, Keira is a comic book geek and personal trainer. Daniel is a pyrotechnic expert, and heavily into the BDSM scene as a switch. When they have a not-date date, sparks they weren't expecting, fly. I love that she is the more dominant person in the developing relationship, that they are of different ethnicities (she's African American, he's Asian), and that he is disabled but not disabled by his disability, if that makes sense. Also, while I've read a fair number of books featurin [...]

    16. Compared to Fit, Sated is more of a vanilla-cutesy. I enjoyed it but I was looking for something moreOUGH I really screamed when I learned the main character is a geek of color while the love interest is Korean American. When will your faves tbh.

    17. 3 stars I should probably prefix this by saying that I don't read a lot of smutke, the extent of my knowledge of it is through fanfiction, forgive me if don't know what I'm talking about.Kiera is a proper nerd (I say that with much affection), a fitness trainer by day who geeks out over a sci fi show and generally despairs of ever finding a man. Dan is a pyrotechnics expert who lost his hand in a accident early in his career, but whose disability does not seem to get in the way of his ability to [...]

    18. I really enjoyed aspects of this book - the down to earth writing, the low drama, the characters who were quirky and developed. However, I don't know much about BDSM which created a lot of questions. Also, the book was short - it could have gone into some more detail.Keira fangirls a dorky tv show. Daniel is a friend of a friend who goes with her to a Con. They click. However, Daniel is intensely into a BDSM community. Essentially this is the story of Keira and Daniel achieving some balance. The [...]

    19. I bought all three books in the Fit Trilogy today after seeing tweets from the author. While I loved all three books and all three couples, Daniel and Keira were my favorites. I adored Keira because she felt familiar. There's definitely a lack of nerdy black kinksters in erotic fiction and it was amazing to see a character that I immediately adored and identified with. And Daniel was such a good hero ugh! I wanted to kiss him myself and normally, I tend to loathe the heroes in many of the books [...]

    21. I adored, ADORED(!), this third story in the Fit trilogy! I lt was hands down my favorite. Not in the least because of the fantastic couple, the crisp and enjoyable writing, the smoking sexy times and my further schooling in BDSM and switches. I loved Keira. She totally made the book for me. Not unlike with the heroines of the other two stories, Rebekah Weatherspoon delivered another awesome heroine that I want to be real and in my friends circle. Daniel was adorable. Just adorable! And sexy. Le [...]

    22. What I liked: 1. a geeky and proud heroine! 2. A guy who wasn't as geeky but liked and understood her passion for it.3. He's heavy into BDSM and she's vanilla - but I loved how they discussed it openly from the start! That was really my favorite part of the book - how they negotiated the sex in their relationship. What I didn't like: nothing was awful. It moved fast, but I expect that in a novella. There was a little bit "just talk about it!" frustration, but it worked for me.This is the 3rd in t [...]

    23. I really enjoyed this book! The dialogue was spot on, it was funny, and the characters were all very likable. I've said it once before and I'll say it again, I LOVE having nerdy POC in fiction. It's so rare to find a female lead who is nerdy and into her fandoms like I amd so it's always refreshing to find a story with a character like this who is also well written. The sex was steamy and the couple somehow managed to stay really cute. Definitely a good read!

    24. Well, that wasting. I would have given it four stars if it weren't for the editing issues and the short length that prevented me from really connecting on an emotional level with the characters. But, overall, I really enjoyed it. It's a cute, sweet romance with a nod to BDSM.

    25. Oh my god I didn't know that multicultural sci-fi nerds engaging in BDSM was a thing I wanted but yaaaaas! But please, for the love of god, indie authors: hire someone to format your books properly! The "bonus" content in the book is completely unreadable on both Nook and Adobe Digital Editions.

    26. My favorite story in the trilogy. I love the geeky heroine and the switch hero. I love that they explore the strange-to-them together. The kink is more mild than explicit, but the story's hot and emotionally satisfying. *happy sigh*
