    1. Delightful reading of small town Greyson, Arizona and the neighborly people living there. Jean Hays blunders into a dead body while gathering decorations and supplies for the upcoming fair. Now she's gotten her friend Karen and herself involved in finding out who murdered Ida Grange. But it seems that someone is out to stop her investigating and the Chief of Police is none to happy about it either.Enjoy this light hearted, murder mystery story with some great characters.

    2. Full of twists and turns! This book introduces Jean Hays, new to Greyson, Arizona, and the newest member of the organising committee for the annual local fair. There are complications aplenty, even before the fair gets under way, and Jean finds herself at front and centre of the story. This is a well-crafted mystery, full of twists and turns that surprise the reader and keep them guessing right up to the end and a few red herrings thrown in for good measure. The characters are well rounded and i [...]

    3. I really enjoyed this book. I liked the fact that the sleuth was an unattached women but came to depend on several men as the story went along. I also liked the way Connie introduced new characters that totally could have done any or all of the little side plots. I look forward to reading more from this author.

    4. Great leading characters. Awesome plot. Reads similar to life in small towns. Like being there yourself.

    5. Couldn't put it down! Eventful, fast paced book. Strong main characters, just like people we meet everyday, events that are everyday functions which makes the book real. I cannot wait to see what else Jean Hays is up to next.
