    1. For a book that was a 2015 finalist of the New Mexico Book awards, I was highly disappointed. This was suppose to be a children's book but with a stabbing of a woman, beating death of a 5 year old child and talking about sexual abuse, I wouldn't recommend it. After going to a signing and hearing about the storyline, I even purchased a second copy for my grandson, but now I will not be giving it to him.
