    1. Wow!! Liz Hedgecock’s stunning mystery would make Sir Arthur Conan Doyle PROUD.First, my thanks to the Kindle Unlimited program. Because of it, I’m thrilled to have discovered a wonderful writer who’s brand-new to me. (I don’t normally read books in this time period, but I had come across information about Liz Hedgecock and how she’d begun to speculate about Mrs. Hudson’s past. For instance, how had Sherlock Holmes’s landlady become a widow? Exactly what had happened to her husband [...]

    2. Excellent story written in the Sherlock Holmes genreWonderful characterizes true to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's style. I enjoyed reuniting with all the characters. Great learning about Mrs Hudson's back story!

    3. A House of MirrorsWay outside my usual genre. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Was quick flowing, well executed, very entertaining and kept you guessing.

    4. Anyone who is familiar with Sherlock Holmes will know Mrs. Hudson and the important part she plays in the life of his detective work with Dr. Watson. But how many of us know the real Mrs. Hudson? The person behind the landlady persona, the history of how she came to be landlady to one of the world's most famous detectives. This brilliant tale created by Liz Hedgecock examines Mrs. Hudson and her complicated history; how she was thrown into the sphere of Sherlock Holmes, into the world of police [...]

    5. Get ready for a fun, rollicking, read as you are transported to 221 Baker Street and the world of Victorian London. Author Liz Hedgecock delivers another page turner of a tale with her latest Sherlock Holmes mystery; A House of Mirrors. Twists and turns abound as readers are introduced to the mysterious Mrs. Helen Hudson and how she came to be not only Holmes and Watson's landlady but such an integral part of the famous detectives life.I wasn't sure who don it until I reached the end. Writer Liz [...]

    6. It's a little known fact that, contrary to popular belief, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle did not die in 1930, but in fact maintained a low profile for several decades until resurfacing in the early 21st century whereupon he continued writing his Sherlock stories under an assumed name. That name is Liz Hedgecock. In his new guise as "Liz Hedgecock", ACD has produced a number of new Holmes pieces worthy of his earlier work. In this one, he explores the origins of one of his unsung heroines, Mrs Hudson, an [...]

    7. Thank you, Liz, for transporting me to 221B Baker Street to spend time with Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson and the mystery woman! The mark of a good book for me is how much it pulls me in and how much I think about it when I’m supposed to be doing other things. When I read a story and forget where I am, if I can’t wait to get back to it to find out how it ends, or I’m trying to unravel the plot while I’m doing dishes or driving to work, then I know it’s a hit. If you love a mystery tha [...]
