    1. ***Free copy given for honest review. For such a short book there was way too much going on in order for me to actually invest in Joshua and Ayden and enjoy their story.(view spoiler)[ So, Joshua is straight. He's been in prison but now he's working at bar as a bouncer and he is sort of attracted to his co-worker Ayden. One night a very drunk Ayden calls him for a lift home, Ayden tells Joshua his address but they end up at a lake where Ayden drinks beer and strips off for a swim. When Josh fina [...]

    2. tricked into love after his prison time Joshua is doing what he must to keep out of trouble. he wasn't looking for love but when is blackmailed into dating Ayden that all changed. now he will do anything to keep Ayden in his life even if that means getting in trouble with his PO"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."

    3. I received this through the instafreebie program. This had a lot of plots running through it an ex-con who needs money. A bartender with failed relationships in his past. A gay-for-you romance.

    4. Over all I thought this was a good read. I liked the characters and thought the conflicts worked. I would have liked it to be a little more in depth. I recieved a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy.

    5. I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. This is actually two stories in one book. The first book we meet Joshua and Ayden. Ayden has always been hot for Joshua but he knows that he is a straight man and he has no shot with him. Little does he know that Joshua has been having feelings for Ayden as well but he knows he can't act on them. What happens though when Joshua is blackmailed into dating Ayden? Will this blow up in their faces or will they find their HEA?In the se [...]

    6. I enjoyed the romance between Ayden and Joshua. Joshua was on probation and trying to turn his life around but when he gets a text threatening to turn in a picture of him with a beer (which he isn't supposed to drink) to his probation officer he panics and does what they demand, which is, date Ayden for two weeks. They were both attracted to each other for quite a while before the threat so it was no big deal for Joshua (except for the deceit part of it). I didn't like the dog fighting portion o [...]

    7. Ok so I have some issues with this book it was way to short, I think it could have spread out more and made more sense. I felt like the flow went a little too fast and I got lost a few times on who was talking and then I got confused on who did what, like for a while I thought Josh was the bar owner and Ayden was the one on parole. I also didn't understand the reason for blackmailing, she could have just done what she did at the end and got them together. I was thinking there was gonna be some s [...]

    9. This was an interesting book with Josh and Ayden. Both men gay, but Josh is on probation from prison after being put in jail for illegal gambling. Ayden however has his stuff together and co-owns a bar with his sister. Both men are attracted to each other, but Josh is sure he is straight and Ayden is too shy and ill-used from his previous relationships to try and approach Josh. Josh gets involved with gambling one more time to help with his sister's kidney transplant. The he gets blackmailed and [...]

    10. Joshua Teel is hardened. Between his prison time and his lack of love in his life, he realizes it is time to straighten up. Meeting Ayden at his new job opens up new feelings of vulnerability and hope. Ayden Knoll is tender-hearted and full of the boyish charm all the men desire. He believes he missed any chance he had with Ayden. There are many things going on in this short book. Joshua and Aiden's new relationship, Ayden being blackmailed, and Ayden's sister being sick. I would have like more [...]

    11. Not bad but there's too much going on in such a short book.I liked the two main characters but the ex and the random are redundant to the plot.It could also do with expanding on the sister's illness and their mother's expectation of him to just produce such a large sum of money out of nowhere given that he had been in prison! The book seemed to have so much going on and so fast paced that I felt as though I'd been caught in an avalanche.

    12. This is fast paced, interesting read. Ayden and Josh both have their own issues to work through to be together and there is a lot crammed into this book. It was incredibly easy to figure out the antagonist in this one and the motives behind it, but that didn't detract from the story for me. I feel like it would've been better to have had less going on in the periphery of this romance, but it's still a good read.
