    1. I enjoyed this - it takes you on a trail where you have to keep reading - you've no idea where it is going. the start has a hilarious take on church politics in London diocese. But as the book gets darker I started to get confused. the title led me to think this was an alternative telling of the birth of Christ but actually the account follows the start of a pregnancy and how that came about. Which isn't a nativity. Its interesting to compare the Mary figure with the original. That is perhaps th [...]
