    1. This book was written in the late 80's, so his references are outdated. However, since he is a clinical psychologist, his strategies about how to handle single life are quite helpful and I do feel I learned a lot from this book. Not every chapter related to me since I'm not planning on buying a house anytime soon or I don't have kids, but everything else from reflecting on past and prevent future mistakes to romantic strategies and learning to love yourself were very helpful.
